She enjoyed making noise with her feet. Her other love was the
marching band and believe it or not but tap and band seem to go
together quite well.
When Melanie came to Midland, she was searching for adult classes
everywhere and happened into our sweet studio. We only offered jazz
at the time and so she reluctantly signed up and then oh my Ms Joy
After dancing with the ladies a few months, Ms Joy saw that she would
be a good teacher. So, with much encouragement Ms Melanie began
teaching tap.
Now Ms Melanie teaches the majority of the tap classes at the studio.
She attends classes in Austin every summer and is constantly learning
new tap concepts. Her choreography is very unique. We love have Ms
Melanie as our tap teacher and challenge you to take a class.
